Although the official count shows that the spawing was not very good this year reports from our members seem to confirm that spawing in our river was up to previous years !! In other news we have been asked to become part of the Feale Anglers Alliance

Rememberence Day

  • Reports have been received of salmon spawning in areas of our rivers where they haven’t been seen for years !!!!! Could this be the start of an improvement.
  • Congratulations to all who took part in our Table quiz series this year. Everybody enjoyed them thanks once again to Eddie Barrett, and a big thank you of course to all three bars.
  • Thank you to all who attended the rememberence day for the late Patrick Downey  it was a very moving and wonderful evening. Please visit the garden , chair and plaque when your passing the bridge area and remember him.
